State of the art Sleep Lab was inaugurated in Pulmonary Medicine ward at AIIMS bhopal on 19 June 2015. We have presently four level 1 PSG LABS & two portable (level2 PSG) labs with us. Our lab has hotel like rooms which are spacious( 300 sq feet each) and are soundproof. Control of temperature and light can be done by technicians without disturbing patients sleep. Sleep rooms have biway connection for communication with technicians in technicians room.
We have facility for etco2 and tcCO2 monitoring. We are also doing actigraphy for chronic insomnia & circadian rythm patients.
We do diagnosis and treatment of various sleep related disorders e.g. OSA, CSA, Sleep Related Movement
Disorders, Narcolepsy, Parasomnias, Circadian rhythm disorders, Insomnias e.t.c
We are doing manual scoring and manual titration with CPAP, Bilevel PAP, AVAPS, ASV. Manual scoring is checked at three stages by three independent doctors before dispatching the result.
We are running sleep clinic in which detailed history, examination, investigation (including ABG) are done before giving PSG dates. After completing studies reports are given to patients and various therapy options are explained to pt.

We are running PAP-NAP services, mask fitting clinic, group therapy sessions, CPAP clinic along with sleep clinic. Our next plan is to start Post Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC) in Sleep Medicine and technician course in Sleep Medicine.
